Programme Details:-  The Family Counseling Centre (FCC) is sponsored by the Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, GOI from 2007-08 vive letter No.30-8/Assam/2007-08/FCC dated 11-01-2013 to conduct at Barpathar, Dist. Lakhimpur, Assam. The different types of cases of family problems like Domestic Violence, Marital Maladjustment, Dowry Demand, Extra Marital Relationship, Career Counseling, Alcohol/Drug Addicted, Economic Crisis, Human Trafficking, Child Abuse, Depression, etc. are registered in this centre for counseling, motivation for ultimate solution. Since 2016 more than 1455 cases are registered and 900 cases were solved and made closed. The poor family members of Lakhimpur district are benefited from this centre for their family problems.
